UPS and SkyLink Express pulling together for the United Way

The 2nd annual UPS Plane Pull for United Way took place at the UPS Gateway in Richmond, BC this year on Saturday, 03 June, with fantastic weather and a great time had by all!

Once again, SkyLink Express was a proud partner with UPS in this wonderful fundraiser by providing one of our YVR-based 208B Grand Caravans for the kid’s plane pull event. Watching the children have so much fun while pulling the SkyLink Express Caravan was a definite highlight for our team of volunteers.

Of course, the jet pull was a great deal of fun for all the adult teams too!

At last count, the event raised over $36,000 for the United Way of the Lower Mainland, more than doubling last year’s donations!

The team of UPS Vancouver volunteers were amazing with all the extra effort that went into this fantastic annual event.

SkyLink Express is extremely proud of our own Vancouver team’s efforts preparing our aircraft and participating in this wonderful day of fun for everyone! We simply cannot wait to do it all over again in 2016!

UPS and SkyLink Express helping the United Way

Saturday (13 September) was a perfect summer day in Richmond at the 2014 UPS Jet Pull for the United Way and SkyLink Express was a proud partner in this great fundraiser.

As in years past, the United Way of the Lower Mainland fundraiser was held at the UPS Vancouver Gateway. However, this year’s event added Plane Pulls. UPS provided a B757 global jet freighter for adult teams to pull and SkyLink Express fielded a 208B feeder turboprop freighter for the kid’s teams.

Fun was had by everyone throughout the day and the event raised over $16,000 for United Way.

SkyLink Express is very proud of its team of volunteers who participated in this great event. Aiding a great cause while bringing smiles to children’s faces; what a wonderful way to spend a summer day.
