About the Role:
Reporting to the Chief Pilot, a Beech 1900 Captain is responsible for the operation and safety of the aircraft and for the safety of all persons on board during flight. Main responsbilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform Pre- and Post-flight inspections of fuel, equipment, and navigational systems; calculate airplane weight & balance.
  • Prepare Operational Flight Plan, and/or Flight Plan/Flight Itinerary as applicable.
  • Operate the aircraft safely and maintain a good degree of professionalism.
  • Monitor weather conditions and communicate with air traffic control during flights.
  • Liaise with other company personnel throughout operations.
  • Keep up to date with aircraft advancements and equipment.
  • Ensure crew members perform the required duties in a proper manner during flight.
  • Assist with cargo load transfers.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
  • Canadian Airline Transport Pilot’ s Licence
  • 2000 hours total time & 500 hours multi-engine turbine preferred
  • Experience on 1900 or similar type is considered an asset
  • Must be legally entitled to live and work in Canada
  • Require English language proficiency
  • Must maintain a Canadian Category 1 medical
  • Must maintain a Security Clearance
  • Must maintain a valid Passport allowing travel to Canada and USA
  • Must maintain US C1/D Crewmember Visa (only required for non-Canadian/non-American passport holders)
  • Must maintain a Group 1 Instrument Rating
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted
Salary:
  • Annual Base Salary $64,000, plus flight Pay, Stipends, Overtime, and Per Dierms, in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
Flight Crew hired with a valid Pilot Proficiency Check (PPC) on type:
  • Begin employment at full salary plus per diems, benefits and allowances.

Flight Crew accepting training / upgrades:
  • Are provided all necessary training at NO personal cost.
  • Agree to remain employed with SkyLink Express for 2 years as a reasonable return on our training investment.

Maintenance

We are hiring Full-Time Permanent Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) for our bases in YVR and YHM. Apply today to join our team!

About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior base Engineer, an AME will perform maintenance on the aircrafts in accordance with all Manufacturers and Company recommendations and regulations. Main responsbilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Carry out maintenance, inspection, repair and modification of aircraft and record any defects.
  • Assist in instruction of the job training for maintenance personnel.
  • Complete and certify log books, work sheets, for work accomplished by AME or maintenance personnel under their case.
  • Responsible for the control of parts issued from stores.
  • Report unserviceable maintenance equipment to Senior Base Engineer.
  • Ensure that safety precautious are being observed by learners, unlicensed maintenance personnel etc. on assigned activities.
  • Attend training course as directed by Company management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Management team.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
  • Possession of valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License (M1 rating) required
  • Must have working experience on least one of the following aircraft:
    • Beech 1900
    • Cessna 208
    • PT6 Engine equipped aircraft
  • Sound troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient on computer skills to facilitate troubleshooting, information management and maintenance of manuals in electronic format
  • Flexibility to work shift work.

  • Salary will be aligned to experience and skills.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior base Engineer, an AME Apprentice will carry out maintenance, inspection, repair, and modifications of aircraft under the guidance and supervision of an AME.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
  • In the process of finalizing a recognized aircraft maintenance program, or equivalent.
  • Working toward becoming an "M1" licensed Technician.
  • Previous apprentice related experience is an asset.
  • Flexibility to work shift work.

  • Salary will be aligned to experience and skills.
